How They Met
Some love stories begin in the most unexpected ways — and for Ben and Eunice, their journey started near the end of a global pandemic. Both pharmacists by profession, Ben and Eunice’s paths crossed when Eunice vaccinated Ben — and let’s just say, Cupid’s arrow was some shot! What began as a professional encounter blossomed into a beautiful friendship that turned into a meaningful relationship filled with shared passions, mutual admiration, and deep connection.
Why Hawaii?
Ben spent a year working at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii back in 2020 and still has family on the islands. When it came time to propose, it made perfect sense to return to Oahu — a place that already held significance in his heart — to begin the next chapter of their love story.
The Proposal
After exploring his options for planning a Hawaii proposal, Ben reached out to us at Jolene Kaneshige Photography. Afterward, their friends joined them for hugs, cheers, and heartfelt congratulations, turning the moment into a full celebration at golden hour.
